Week Eleven : Thoughts on Criteria

Elaborating on how the criteria explicitly relates to my proposition the following details discussion undertaken with my theme leader and how I have and intend to apply each category to my work.

Script
Reality: Current contextual understandings
Explored through analysis of Paddington in relation to city and precinct with spirit, culture, social, economic and environment considerations. Communicated with maps and diagrams about existing community networks, emergent ideologies and a future master plan for the precinct.

Creativity: Unique and imaginative plot or story
Explored through the containment of multiple levels and scales of activity and animation. Communicated with images and renders of day/night trade, seasonal trade and inter-generational trade, a time-lapse method.

Stage
Purpose: Meaningful spaces and services, solutions and opportunities
Explored through community ownership and meaningful engagement, reinforcing the identity of the precinct. With active ground frontages and the invitation and participation of multiple stakeholders. Communicated through plans and sections.
               
Navigation: Appropriate and meaningful access and circulation
Explored through a transforming marketplace, configurable to changing needs and through an established sense of transparency with strong visual connections. Communicated through diagrams of circulation and view.

Integrity: Structural and operational integrity
Explored through modular and portable design and the opportunity for different configurations and transport beyond the site. Communicated through diagrams of assembly, use and disassembly. 

Scenes
Presence and Identity: Purpose of existence
Explored through reference to the past and what are emerging values within the precinct and facilitated with synergistic relationships and community purpose. Communicated through diagrams of the contextual relationship and established networks.

First-person: Senses and experience
Explored through changing sights, sounds and smells to create an exciting and ever evolving experience. Communicated through perspectives, images and materiality.
